Objectives of the Course
The objective is to train students in some concepts in industrial statistics. The theory of sample moments, significant test, sampling theory and analysis of variance  are introduced. Practical problems are solved.
UNIT-I:
Sampling and large sample test
UNIT-II:
Exact sampling distribution (chi-square distribution)
UNIT-III:
Exact sampling distribution t, F and Z distribution
UNIT-IV:
Theory of estimation, testing of hypothesis
UNIT-V:
Analysis of variance, Design of experiments
